Robbert · Founder, DutchDropsServices & approach
One developer or a whole team
Two ways to work together. You choose, we handle sourcing, selection and employership. Onboarding possible within 2 to 4 weeks.
Developer as a Service
DaaSYou get one or more developers who permanently belong to your team. They work in your sprints, your tools and your codebase, and you steer them like your own people.
Choose this when your team is in place and you mainly miss capacity or one specific skill.
- Fixed monthly price per developer, no hourly margins
- Works in your stack, sprints and tools
- Minimum term six months
- We handle contract, payroll and office
Team as a Service
TaaSYou get a complete team that runs a product or roadmap. A tech lead can be added. You set the direction, the team delivers working software.
Choose this when you want a whole product or roadmap built without setting up a team yourself.
- Developers and tester, tech lead optional
- One point of contact instead of separate people
- Runs an entire roadmap, delivery included
- Grows along with your product

Cost comparison
Check the difference yourself
Pick a level or slide to your own salary. We calculate the direct employer cost with the official 2026 premiums and place it next to our from-price. The full methodology is in our article on what a developer really costs per month.
Representative employer scenario
Pension is a representative scenario, not a statutory or industry-wide rate. Recruitment is an explicit external recruitment assumption: 20% of the annual gross salary including holiday allowance, spread over 24 months. Specialist IT recruitment can be higher.

These two items are not statutory employer charges. Only switch them on if you really pay them.

Cost per month
From-price for this level, including recruitment, local employment, payroll, workplace and local support.
Monthly calculation for 2026: gross salary plus 8% holiday allowance, plus 17.13% employer premiums on the premium wage up to the statutory ceiling of 6,617.41 euro per month. The premium percentage applies to a small employer with a permanent contract and is not a universal Dutch percentage. You can also switch on the representative employer scenario: a pension contribution of 15.2% on pensionable salary above a franchise of 19,172 euro per year (a representative scenario, not a statutory rate) and an external recruitment assumption of 20% of the annual gross salary including holiday allowance, spread over 24 months. Equipment, workplace and overhead are not included. The tre plus amounts are from-prices.

I'm building the nearshore partner I once looked for and never found
I've worked in IT for 15 years and have been building development teams in Kosovo since late 2022. Before tre plus, I helped a nearshore organisation grow towards almost 70 FTE. With tre plus I'm now building the partner I was looking for back then: personal, transparent and working from our own office in Prishtina.
- Kosovo since late 2022
- Experience with an organisation towards almost 70 FTE
- Our own office in Prishtina
- You talk directly to me. No account managers, no layers in between.
- I personally screen every developer on skill, mindset and fit.
- One office in Prishtina: permanent teams with their own culture, no rotation.
- We handle everything around it: sourcing, payroll, insurance and guidance.

Data & insights
Insights from the market

1,207 open developer roles, stable at the same companies
The third edition of our Developer Market Monitor, the first with a fixed method. In October we saw 1,207 open developer roles at 446 Dutch companies. At the 298 companies we also saw in September, the number of roles barely changed.
What does a developer really cost per month in 2026?
A gross salary is not an employer cost and an hourly rate is not a monthly price. We calculate three models with the official 2026 figures and show where the difference is large and where it almost disappears.
